We recommend room temperature (65-80 degrees F) storage with little variability during the day as best. Keep back-stock sealed to preserve correct moisture levels and less oxygen exposure to the product. When merchandising bulk taffy out in open containers, be willing to experiment on best place in store and how much to have open and out at once. If in a dry climate, be mindful to not place it in too cold or dry environments, as it will dry out and firm up sooner. If in a humid climate, be careful to protect it from humidity exposure over 20-30% and consider keeping in a cooler space in the room. Try to gauge how much to have out in open containers so that it requires refills/turnovers on a weekly to bi-weekly basis ideally. If needing to promote to move up stock turnover, consider high traffic areas for the display and volume deals to sell more like "Buy 1 pound, get 1/4" Free.
